Project Description

Project Brief

Client Name:

James Grant Photography

Design Requirements:

  • Logo Design
  • Brand Guidelines
  • Stationery Design
  • Printed Book Design and Layout

The previous branding for James Grant Photography was starting to look out of date. The logo didn’t depict the brand very well and wasn’t eyecatching. The branding wasn’t defined and required some outlines to create a strong brand image.

The requirements for the project were to stick with the original colour scheme, which was green and to incorporate landscape elements within the logo, the logo also needed to be adaptable to allow the client to use it as a watermark on their images.

Aperture Media then commissioned us at a later date to design and layout a printed book on behalf of James Grant Photography. We worked together with both Aperture Media and James Grant Photography to fulfil the requirements for the project.

Final Outcome

The client was extremely happy with the logo design as it reflected their passion for the mountains whilst incorporating the initials of their brand name.

The requested colour scheme worked well within the logo and an additional colour pallet was created to compliment. The stationery included business cards, a compliments slip and a letter head which all adhered to the newly created brand guidelines.

Overall the new brand images looks very modern and really compliments the photography that the client produces.
